Choosing Your Road to Ijebu-Ode
Ijebu-Ode is roughly 110 km from Lagos by road. In free-flowing traffic the drive is about an hour and a half. On a busy day it can be much longer.
Route one: through Sagamu
You join the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, leave it at the Sagamu interchange and continue to Ijebu-Ode. It suits people starting on the mainland side of Lagos, but the expressway can slow sharply with traffic.
Route two: the Epe corridor
You head east along the Lagos–Epe road and continue to Ijebu-Ode. It can suit clients starting in Lekki, Ajah or Ikorodu, depending on the road conditions that day.
Which is better?
It depends on where you start and what traffic is doing. We do not name a winner in advance. We confirm the route with you in writing, together with the departure time and return plan.
Plan a buffer
For weddings, festivals and other fixed-time events, we build a generous buffer into the departure time. Arriving early is easy to fix. Arriving late is not.
